Hot Congress consists of local musicians working together not only to bring their art closer to you, but also you closer to your local music scene. We are a collective of musicians and other like-minded artists dedicated to a self-sustaining, networked model of promotion. In 2009, with the help of local music venues and media outlets, we successfully raised the funds necessary to put together a compilation, which was released on December 12th. In the near future, we plan to bring more artists into the collective who will continue this tradition. A lot of the bands we're working with have some pretty phenomenal releases pending, and we hope to share those with you here first.
